Jo Ann Koontz
Jo Ann is a rare breed: both an attorney and certified public accountant. Add to that her dynamic personality, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to create uniquely effective solutions, and you begin to understand just how much she brings to the table.
One of Jo Ann’s specialities is advising clients about the potential legal and tax consequences of real estate and business decisions. She likes to solve problems before they become problems. It’s no wonder that she’s widely recognized as a thought leader and asked to speak at conferences locally and nationally.
She also works closely with foreign nationals wanting to relocate and establish businesses in Florida. A regular speaker and exhibitor throughout the United Kingdom, as part of Koontz & Associates, PL’s “Get Me To Florida” initiative, Jo Ann advises on the best ways to acquire or start a business, and buy/sell property in the US in general with an emphasis on Florida in particular.
In addition to her dynamic career, Jo Ann demonstrates zest for the rest of her life, including her husband Kyle and beautiful daughter Giovanna (“G”). Following her Dad’s lead, Jo Ann is a huge Giants fan. She also loves basketball, boating, yoga, Ricky Martin, and listening to ESPN.
